But ya are Blanche, ya ARE in the chair!
Thought for the day:
It seems to me that the aging process presents only two viable options to the high-strung, outgoing creative type, namely, either to mellow or surrender to the temptation to go all Bette Davis in the later years. Having recently relocated from New York to San Francisco, I’m working on getting my cool on, but I must admit it’s a struggle.
So which will it be, folks, battle the madness or start coloring outside the lines with my lipstick as we roll on into crazy town?
I think you know. I think we all do.

You know if I were in town, we’d be hanging out at your favorite dive bar, where everyone knows your name and they have your favorite flavor of chicken drumsticks.
My favorite SF dive bar has no food whatsoever. It does, however, include a reasonable facsimile of the Fenway Park Green Monster in the back yard, as well as a pool table and dart board. Myself, I never waste energy playing games when I’m imbibing, but it does make for an interesting sideshow, if you know what I’m talking about. Get down here, Susan. Like now.
Two Bettes for the price of one with a Liz thrown in.
Have you EVER encountered a better deal than that in under 500 words?
Was missing your blog!
When it comes down to the choice between sharing a thought or figuring out how to arrange my shoes, you know which path I take.
Footwear arranged, torrent of insanity flowing again.
Bring it on lady.
